Setup & Breakdown
These areas include, coming prior to service (7:30am) to help set-up signage, kids & youth, courtyard & auditorium and/or staying after service (Approx 1-2 hrs) to breakdown all the church equipment and put back central to how it was.
Welcome (Parking, Greeters, Ushers & Connect Table)
These 4 different areas primarily role is to welcome people, assist them in finding where things are, answering questions and connecting everyone to the life fo the church. They would happen a bit before, during, and a bit after service.
Hospitality (Coffee + Food)
These areas include preparing, setting up, serving the coffee/drinks and/or any food/snacks we may have. It would be during our fellowship time in the courtyard before and after the service.
Kids Church (0 years old - 5th grade)
This area includes being a caretaker/teacher for all our young keiki ranging from babies to toddlers to the end of elementary school. The primary roles will include providing care/shepherding as well as a bible lesson, crafts, snacks and fun, etc.
Youth
This area include being a youth leaders to care for, teach and have relationship with our middle and high school age (6th - 12th grade) students. The time will include relationship building, bible lessons and fun/games.
Safety
This area will include roaming the keiki, youth and adult spaces to provide a safe presence as well as help as needs arise.
Prayer & Communion
These areas involve preparing and setting up communion (Bread & Juice) prior to service, as well as being available to pray for others during our second set of musical worship following the sermon.
Tech (Audio. Video & Slides)
These areas involve running the sound, video and powerpoint during the service time. No required skills are necessary, all can be taught:)
Mālama Central
This would include helping take care of the space we meet in by helping maintain the landscaping, and cleaning up any rubbish as needed. This will be an on-going need and can done throughout the week and/or on Sundays.
Community Garden
This would include helping maintain and care for the community garden at Central, which we are using to grow food for the Food Pantry/Distribution. No required skills are necessary, all can be taught:) This will be an on-going need and can done throughout the week and/or on Sundays.
Food Pantry
This would include being involved in preparing, setting up boxes of food and serving/giving them out to community who are in need. Dates and frequency of the food pantry are TBD, but this will eventually be an on-going need and can done throughout the week and/or on Sundays. More details to come:)
